Investigation on Atmospheric Transport and Deposition of Air Pollution Emissions from Gas-fired Power Plants in Northern Taiwan

Project Details

Description

This study intends to study the pollutants inside a natural-gas power plant supplemented with the air pollution diffusion model (ISCST3) to screen the locations of the maximum concentration, as the sampling point (particulate and wet deposition sampling). Based on the weather monitoring, suitable sampling times are chosen for atmospheric deposition and particulate matter sampling and chemical composition analysis (metallic elements and water-soluble ions) during summer and winter seasons. We expect to calculate the contribution of the chemical composition of the air pollution emitted from natural gas combustion power plant in both acid deposition, and atmospheric particulate samples.
