Description
In this project, we aim to design and develop an educational game APP based on the playfulness-designmodel proposed by Hong et al (2009) to increase students’ learning interest, learning engagement, andlearning achievement. The educational game APP adapted from the unit “Transportation and Energy” in thefourth-year “science and technology” curriculum of the Taiwan elementary school. The course started bythe background, game rules, related extensions, creative thinking, create new card in the APP,implementation, sharing experience, reflection, and back forward to creative imagination. Finally, studentsmight acquire some science concepts, attain high achievement, high learning interest and high learningengagement in the learning with the educational game APP.
