Description

2. 計畫英文摘要。(五百字以內)The experimental high energy physics group at National Central University (NCUHEP) has beenin CMS at the LHC since 1999. My group successfully participated in the construction andcommissioning of CMS Preshower detector, and have since become the leading group on theDetector Control System (DCS), Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) and calibration of thePreshower. Preshower was installed in early 2009. Since the startup of proton-proton collisionsat LHC in the end of 2009, our main mission has moved from hardware oriented activities tophysics analysis. Over the last five years, my group published several papers on di-bosonphysics, the search of the Higgs boson and the search of new physics. My group alsocontributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson made by the CMS collaboration. This importantdiscovery made two theorists who proposed the BEH mechanism fifty years ago were awardedby the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013. In this proposal, I propose to work on (1) the physicsanalysis of di-Higgs production, (2) CMS phase 2 detector upgrade and (3) the circular electronpositron collider (CEPC) as a Higgs factory.
