Critical Infrastructure (CI) is an important national asset, most are dependent of eachother. There is some dependence between the elements, which when damaged, may cause damageto other elements or lead to a chain reaction. This relationship is called a criticalinfrastructure interdependency (CII) and has been proved to be the source of many facilitiesdamaged. Following the 911 terrorist attacks, national security has become an importantissue. Many countries have committed to critical infrastructure research. Researcherssuch as Dr. Hamies have offered to put the winner of the 1973 Nobel Prize regarding Dr.Wassily Leontief's input-output model and transformed it into the inoperabilityinput-output model.This study attempts to use IIM in a region of critical infrastructures that may be attacked.We will identify the worth protecting facilities from the point of view of the overall system,and find out the greatest impact due to CII. Ontology with SWRL will be utilized foranalyzing critical infrastructure interdependencies, to identify the most influential inthe system. It is expected that the proposed ontology-based model can help disastermitigation officials in handling protection of CI and find out contingency measures.
