Project Details
Description
In this project, the Ka-band millimeter-wave antenna module with RF frontend up/down converter will be developed using commercial integrated circuits for the 5G mobile communications. The module consists of a up/down converter and a local oscillation. To further reduce the overall volume and weight, the RF module will be fabricated using the low-temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC) process provided by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). The beamforming demonstrations of the 5G mobile communications can be performed using the RF transceiver module.
