Project Details
Description
Zhenglong Dayuan Paper Mill has long been a model factory rewarded by the government. Continuous improvement has driven the development of Taiwan's industrial and commercial circles. Nowadays, the sustainable management of environmental resources is a topic of international concern, but in the mainstream of the economy how to take into account the economic development and the sustainability of environmental resources? First of all, keeping records of environmental resources and monitoring of resources are the basic priority; and in the records of environmental resources, the record of biodiversity is an indispensable part; because biodiversity is one of the keys to achieve sustainable management. Only by maintaining high biodiversity, the ecological environment will not be easily unbalanced, and we may have a healthy environment and sustainable long-term existence. Therefore, Zhenglong Dayuan Paper Mill has decided to contribute to the biodiversity of the surrounding environment. Biodiversity includes three levels: genetics (genes), species diversity and ecological diversity. These three levels are closely related as a little change may affect the whole. Therefore. this project will start from the shallower to the deeper—start with species and ecological diversity, conduct a one-year survey, and then carry out follow-up planning based on this.
