Stroke is the 4th major cause of mortality and the major leading cause of functional disability in Taiwan. Identification of the risk factors, the etiologies, demographic features, location of the cerebral infarct, the flow of medical facilities, flow of emergent and post-acute medical care etc. could improve the prognosis of acute stroke patients. Since 1995, the reperfusion therapy for acute ischemic stroke has markedly changes the pathways of acute stroke care, especially with the implementation of endovascular thrombectomy for those with large intracranial artery occlusion. In recent years, the evolving trend in medical care is precision medicine, which deals with patients' genes, environment, and physical conditions in different aspects of acute and chronic treatment and disease prevention. Nowadays, the use of artificial intelligence for data analysis has gradually been accepted by the public, and it has been more effective in promoting the innovation and improvement of biomedicine. Therefore, a large amount of data collection may become the key to subsequent big data analysis of stroke factors.Landseed International Hospital is an important regional hospital in Taoyuan. Since 2006, Dr. Chen has been collecting registration data of Landseed International Hospital’s stroke from admission to Landseed International Hospital’s patients with acute stroke. Track the situation within days. However, the data only exists in many Excel spreadsheets, so there are many problems.This project is expected to build a stroke database to sort out Landseed International Hospital's stroke registration data since 2006, record related disease parameters of patients with acute stroke and follow up within 10 days. Remove duplicate records, integrate the data of the same patient at different times, sort out the missing values and try to make up. Finally try to conduct preliminary data analysis.
