Art of advocacy-the comprehensive teaching and practice from writing to speakin

Project Details

Description

This project combines the 17 issues of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the expression of "initiatives" to observe whether students can have a positive impact on learning behavior through the narrative characteristics of "advocacy needs to make specific proposals for public affairs" . The speech writing before the initiative speech is in the form of contextualized narrative, allowing students to consciously filter and screen the collected information, and then formulate strategies to persuade the audience. Because it is the appeal put forward by the speaker, it can deepen students' perception of the issue. Compared with the feedback of the general learning sheet, it is hoped that it can drive the action of change. The project will focus on teachers' narrative expertise, and invite cross-domain experts and scholars to talk about the topic. The topic is to make the speech more oriented to the real world and make the output text more valuable because of its knowledge. And this comprehensive ability should be more practical help for students to integrate into society in the future.
