Description
This proposal study the applications of smart contract and asset administration shell (AAS) on the intelligent manufacturing. The first application is a distributed manufacturing execution system (dMES) designed by composing several smart contracts. The dMES supports the settings of resources, topology, and work plans and the management of work in process (WIP) and work order. The verification will be carried out with the digital simulation tool, CIROS, and its virtual factory. The second study constructs a fog network system (FNS) using smart contract. The FNS will collect data from devices and dMES smartly, and then deliver the processed results to cloud computing modules. Resulting from blockchain technology, the FNS keeps the data transparent and trustable, such that the CPS can perform more reliable. The testing of the FNS will be carried out in the FESTO CP-Factory, and a single product will be manufactured for the test. The third application is for autonomy CPS services. A smart contract is designed to assist CPS services in identifying process, training new models, check the availability of the new models, and select suitable model for the active process, and monitor their behaviors. The testing will be executed with a mixed production in the FESTO CP-Factory.
