An action study on "the temple culture in the Taoyuan City"

Project Details

Description

I want to teach the students in NCU, let them know more about temple culture and religious life of the Taiwanese. I will do the action research about “Introduction of Chinese temple culture in TaoYuan city”. The main reform program in this class is “Student practice, teacher assistant, community link”. I will emphasize that every students must do some research before fieldwork. There will be three ways in the reform program. The first one is “ do some research, off-campus visits, mission online”. The second one is “practice and meeting in the classroom”. The third one is “make an advertisement / short film / story map to introduce the temple, or do a fieldwork report.”, Since the past five semesters, the students’ learning effectiveness was good. And at the some time, I found that the students didn’t know how to do fieldwork. I will keep the reform program going on, and do a new action research to solve the new problem.
