Project Details
Description
Taiwan Power Company refers to international disposal technologies and considers the environmental conditions of domestic proposed candidate sites to continue to develop and strengthen disposal technologies. The FuelCycle and Materials Administration(FCMA) needs to simultaneously improve the verification capabilities of low-level disposal facilities, and complete technical regulations of low-level radioactive waste disposal. Therefore, this project proposes "Research on the safety control technology of low-level waste disposal site closure and site characteristics". The plan includes research topics such as the control and safety requirements after the disposal site is closed, the hydraulic characteristics of the soil and rock mass deformation area of the disposal site, and the influencing factors of in-situ stress measurement of the disposal site. The research results assist the safety authorities to complete the verification technology and control regulations.
