高效能熱電及儲電材料開發及能源特性探討

Project Details

Description

In this proposal we focus on investigate the interplay between lattice and electricparameters in the new energy materials. The physical properties will be studiedby inelastic neutron scattering, neutron diffraction, x-ray diffraction, resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, specific heat measurements. Special attention will befocus on the interplay between the electron-lattice scattering and electron redoxcapability. Topics proposed to be studied include (1) thermoelectric materials(Ge0.86Sb0.14-xBix)Te and SnSe: by measuring the phonon dispersion, lifetime, paragation length for the origion of low thermal conductivity; (2) nano-sizedPrussian Blue Analogue (PBA): development of Li+-PBA and Na+-PBAsecondary battery and enhancing the electric cycleability by the proximity ofmagnetic Ni and metalic Sn/In nanoparticles by PBA nanoparticles.
