Project Details
Description
This project proposes the Gamification Design Thinking (GDT) framework. The gamification promotes interest and participation in student creation; the design thinking supports student creation steps. Based on this framework, this project builds a mobile technology platform with card-based guides clue module, allowing students to conduct interdisciplinary project-based learning (IPBL) to create multimedia content, such as video production, web design, and APP development. This framework is applied to the interdisciplinary project-based learning course, allowing novice students (from different professional backgrounds) to form interdisciplinary groups to solve authentic problems through interdisciplinary project-based learning activities. Specifically, this project adopts physical cards to support novice students of non-information backgrounds to create interdisciplinary content, accumulate students' information literacy skills, and train them to collaborate in interdisciplinary activities. i.e., forming thematic ideas, organizing content, creating content of digital forms, and producing multimedia content, which will be made available to patients and the public. Participants were twenty-eight college students, consisting of seven groups during one seminar. At present, this research is still conducting relevant data analysis.
