穿音速管道流的廣域弱解

Project Details

Description

In this project, we study the global existence of the entropy solutions to the Cauchy problem of the transonic Fanno-Rayleigh flow for variable area ducts. We show the positivity of the gas velocity through the nozzles. The transonic Fanno-Rayleigh flow of the compressible Euler equations is one of the most popular model in micro-engine design in fluid dynamics and aero-space engineering. The model of hyperbolic system of conservation laws describes the motion of the gas through the nozzles affected by the pressure, heat and friction. So it is an important system for the design of micro-engines and variable nozzles of the airplanes.
