Description

Based mainly on the viewpoint of ethnic identity and social network, the sub-project discusses how Taoyuan Aerotropolis program influences Hakka ethnic identity and social network. Four main developing Hakka regions are involved in the program, including Da Yuan Township (the egg yolk district), Gwan Yin Township, Hsin Wu Township, and Jung Li City (the egg white district). The research adopts the theory of inter-organizational social capital and social network model by Macke, Vallejos, Faccin, and Genari (2013), and the issue network of civil society, performing an analysis on the change and responding strategies of the ethnics in the four regions.
