Project Details

Description

Lens manufacturing and assembly tolerance is a problem that every lens opticsfactory must face, but its processing cost and optical imaging quality are verydifferent for each optics factory and its technology is also different. This projectfirst analyzes the definition of glass lens parameters, such as refractive index,Abbe number, dispersion formula, relationship between refractive index andtemperature, internal transmittance, chemical properties, thermal properties, partial dispersion, relative price, etc. Secondly, the manufacturing and assemblytolerances are defined, which can be divided into central tolerance and eccentrictolerance, and then considering the production and manufacturing tolerances oflens parameters to analyze the imaging quality of the lens optical system. Finally,we do tolerance analysis on different types of lenses, such as scanner lens, blueray pickup head, mobile phone lens and monitor wide-angle lens design.
