Description
This project proposes the" Hakka Storyteller" chatbot as a learning companion. The dialogue mechanism and the design of Hakka children's story tasks help Hakka learners to listen to Hakka children's stories to support their learning motivation and story understanding. In the past, for learners to get suitable, correct, and appropriate children's stories in Hakka to be easily acquired and understood. The teacher needs to spend time dictating and pronouncing repeatedly. If the learner has any problems after returning home, it is very inconvenient to seek the pronunciation or assistance of the Hakka story. If the chatbot could assist in learning Hakka stories, it is expected to improve the convenience for learners to seek assistance and reduce the time for teachers to tell. Therefore, this project will take interactive Hakka children's stories as examples and use the chatbot to allow learners to continue interacting with the "Hakka Storyteller" learning peers and give correct and appropriate answers through listening, reading, and asking questions. This study explores the impact of Hakka Storytellers on students' behavior and affection. In this study, a field test was conducted at the school site. Specifically, when students are more positive in their behavior and affection for Hakka language learning, their willingness to learn the Hakka language may develop more positively, which is conducive to long-term Hakka language learning and ability development.
