微流道熱交換器流動沸騰熱傳增強研究

Project Details

Description

Owing to the rapid digitalized of human activities, the global internet flowincreased 12.1 time from 2010 to 2019 and the data center processing loadingincreased 7.5 time in the same period. More than 40% of the data center energyconsumption are for the air-condition and illumination, which mostly for cooling ofthe informatic apparatus. The cooling method has progressed from direct aircooling to liquid cooling. And two-phase evaporating cooling will be the bestsolution for high power electronic devices cooling. This study will resolve the vapor flow reversal phenomenon by the method ofdivergent flow channels design and enhance the flow boiling heat transferperformance by applying micro porous coating on the channel surface. The totalduration of this project will be three years where the major work packages are (1)Heat exchanger flow channels design, (2) Micro porous surface coating and (3)Heat transfer and flow performance test and validation.
