建構光子於薛丁格環境中的合成規範位能(2/3)

Project Details

Description

The construction of environment for photonic wave-packet to obey Schrödinger equation rather than Maxwell's equation is theoretically investigated. We put forward five topics that cover three coupled system at different energy scales including hard-x-ray-nucleus, ultraviolet-molecule, and optic-atom system. In view of the derived optical or effective Schrödinger equation, we will systematically find methods to generate synthetic gauge potentials for photons, and use effective electromagnetic fields to manipulate photonic behaviors. Our results will lead to new types of quantum control over photons and pave ways toward novel applications in future photonic quantum technology.
