Description
Based on the existing research and development experience and results, thissingle integrated project will develop intelligent unmanned surface vehicle (USV)and remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV’s) with automatic patrol anddynamic positioning functions. It will be equipped with various advanced sensors,which can carry out siltation depth and depth of the entire reservoir, real-timemonitoring and detection of floating sand concentration, water quality, bottomsection depth of inland rivers and bridge foundation scour status. Besides, anadvanced 5D digital display maintenance management platform will bedeveloped to assist in the monitoring, maintenance, and management of thehydrological environment of reservoirs and rivers and the deterioration of theirinternal structures. The overall plan is divided into the following four projects to becompleted in a two-year period: 1. Research and development of intelligentunmanned vehicles for surface and underwater target inspection and monitoring.2. Development of real-time automatic monitoring technology for reservoirsiltation and sand content. 3. The automatic detection technology for river beddepth and bridge foundation scour condition. 4. Develop a maintenance andmanagement platform for inland waters and reservoir hydrological environmentand facilities. The detection and monitoring data obtained through the techniquesdeveloped by this project can be further combined with the developed numericalsimulation analysis tools to establish a compound disaster assessmentmechanism. Comprehensive assessment of the impact of compound water, soiland sand disasters on the sustainable development of the engineeringenvironment and ecological waters.
