Description
Dust and bio-mass burning pollutants are two key pollution type in East Asia. Modeling approach is applied in this study to explore the long-range transport and impacts of regional atmospheric pollutants under the guideline of Integrated Project. Based on the accomplishment of Phase I during which a model system has been developed, this research is able to investigate the impacts of long-range transported air pollutants. In addition to dust and bio-mass burning, mercury is also a rising issue regarding to regional air pollution. We also put attention on this pollutant. The emission inventory will be established in the first year for further study.
