Description
There are many island countries in Asia, which has created a diverse cultural pattern, which covers a wide range of aspects, whether it is a horizontal spatial context or a vertical change of times. East Asian countries, after cultural exchanges, integration, and dissemination, forming a unique East Asian cultural community. Han culture has a long history and strong vitality. Since ancient times, Han culture has significantly impacted neighboring countries, including Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and others, all of which are deeply related to Han culture or Confucianism, forming a special Chinese character cultural circle ecology. The program of this lecture is based on "Asian Community and East Asian Civilization", and is subdivided into several themes, including communication of Chinese characters, literature, politics, news, economy, law, education, and culture. Because the current development of globalization cannot be underestimated, the whole world is a global village. We want students to think creatively from an international perspective. Starting from their own Chinese culture, study across fields, and be inclusive. So that participating students can rethink the relationship between Chinese culture and East Asia, Asia and the world. Jumping out of a single country to enhance self-awareness and broaden horizons. And becoming a global citizen with an international perspective.The annual goal of this course is to enhance students' comprehensive concept of "Asian Community and East Asian Civilization" and to develop opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning. Themes include communication of Chinese characters, literature, politics, news, economy, law, education and culture, etc. There were 15 lectures, a small and medium-sized seminar, and student study activities. In the 15 lectures, the subjects of the open courses included the students from the colleges of arts, science, engineering, management, information, electrical engineering, earth science, Hakka, biomedicine, and engineering. After the implementation of the course lectures, in addition to knowing the Chinese culture that they have been immersed in for a long time, the students in the course can also open their horizons, expand to East Asian countries, cultivate profound humanistic qualities, and then base themselves on Asia, look to the world, and inspire students to be internationalized wide horizons.
