Description

This research project proposes a two gaga-pixel telescope optical system,including one monocentric objective lens, one array of 187 eyepieces, and onearray of 187 micro- multicamera for 14 mega-pixels of 3x zoom lens. Themonocentric objective lens has a field of view angle range of 120 degreex72degree, a focal length of 72 mm, F/#=3, and an entrance pupil of 24 mm. Theeyepiece can be a double lens with a focal length of 28.8 mm. The array of themicro- multicamera for 14 mega-pixels of 3 zoom lens is directly behind theeyepiece array. Each camera is located at the eye relief position of eacheyepiece. The focal length ranges from 24 mm to 72 mm. The number of sensorsselected is the 14 mega-pixels, the pixel size is 1.4 micrometer, and the effectivearea is 6.14 mmx4.60 mm.
