Over the past forty years, the development of Taiwan's economy has made such great strides that it has come to be described throughout the international community as the 'Taiwanese Miracle', and through his immense contribution to the process of Taiwan's economic development, Dr. Kwoh-Ting Li has played a key role in realizing this 'miracle'. In order to present their founder's contribution to Taiwan's economic development, in conjunction with informing others of Taiwan's economic modernization experiences, China Technical Consultants, Inc., are proceeding with the construction of the Kwoh-Ting Library and Archives in Dr. Li's alma mater, the National Central University (NCU), where the Research Center for Taiwan Economic Development is also established for the purpose of carrying out the operation of this Library and promoting research work into Taiwan's economic development.
